finishing design

i have finished my skate park and now am putting in the final planting and greenery. i have finished my research paper and now am starting my capstone presentation as of today.

research and design

i have started my research paper and am working on finishing up my skatepark design on revit. I have a few renders and many designs ramps and rails i just have to figure out the layout i would like to see in a skate park i would like to skate at. The material i have choosen are only a few mostly just a environmental concrete since a skate park is really just a concrete paradise for skaters.

i have been working on research for my capstone paper and have found many things. i also have a design on revit that is not done but i will have it done after this three day weekend.

beginning design

I started the design process of my green skate plaza i have many ideas and have thought out what i will be putting in my 16,000 square foot lot.
im going to have a rain garden for the storm water and plenty of plants, trees and shrubs placed throughout the plaza.

I am in the design process of my skate plaza right now. I am taking ideas from skateparks i visit, street spots i skate downtown an ideas i see in skate videos. I have many ideas and am excited to start designing.

awesome times at the local skateparks

I spent my tuesday afternoon at three of portland newest and best skateparks. I first went to to Ed Benedict, Burnside, and Glenhaven and collected some photos and asked the very few skaters that were there what they would like to see in a skateplaza and i got many ideas.
